EMBARK ON AN AUSTRALIAN ANIMAL ADVENTURE

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo's new zoo tour takes you behind-the-scenes and gives you the opportunity to get up close to iconic Australian animals.

Accompanied by one of our keepers, this intimate zoo tour includes access to restricted areas, plus up-close photo opportunities with our koalas and other Aussie animals using your own device*. 

Pre-booking is essential and must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Australian WILDLIFE Tour runs Thursday - Saturday at 11am. 

  • An intimate tour with one dedicated zoo keeper 
  • Cassowary encounter

Important Information

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

    • Please wear casual comfortable clothes and most importantly wear flat, closed-toe shoes
    • Tour not suitable for mobility scooters, wheelchairs and prams. However, we are able to tailor a behind-the-scenes tour to suit your needs. Contact us to find out more. 
    • Tour participants must be aged 10 years and over
    • Children aged 10 - 16 years, must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ years
    • Please note NSW Government regulations do not allow members of the public to touch or hold koalas – however, our Koala Encounter offers guests the chance to get as close to our wonderful koalas as possible!
