In celebration of the ‘Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® City’ exhibition, Merlin Entertainments is calling young LEGO® fans to show off their brick building skills!

Merlin Entertainments is calling for young LEGO®-lovers to show off their brick building skills with the launch of the Sunshine Coast’s first-ever Junior Model Builder Competition!
In celebration of LEGO® Masters Judge, Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught’s incredible ‘Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® City’ exhibition currently on show at The Wharf Mooloolaba, a call has been put out to budding builders between the ages of 5-10 to enter the Junior Model Builder competition.
Not only will the winner be crowned the Sunshine Coast’s Junior Model Builder 2022 and receive a LEGO® trophy, they will also receive the ultimate LEGO® prize pack including a private meet and greet with Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, a $300 voucher for the pop-up LEGO® store at The Wharf Mooloolaba and a Merlin Annual Pass which unlocks entry to 10 magical attractions in Australia and New Zealand, and of course LEGO®!
To be in the running, children aged 5-10 years old must seek the help of a parent or guardian to submit a recreation of the child’s favourite aquatic animal out of LEGO®. This recreation can be submitted via a photo, or if you want to show more of your child’s personality, videos will also be accepted. You can enter via our Facebook page and don’t forget to tell us about their LEGO® creation, their name and age.
The judges will select six finalists who will be chosen to spend the morning at The Wharf Mooloolaba, enjoying access to the Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® City exhibition, meet and greet with the Master Model Builder from Melbourne’s LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre – all before undertaking the final Brick Builder competition to be virtually-judged by Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught!

All competition entries will be judged on creativity and enthusiasm, so we encourage everyone between the age of 5-10 to submit an entry!
