Captain Careless Needs Your Help On A Pirates Treasure Hunt at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium!

Discover hidden treasures and extraordinary creatures from the seven seas!

Ahoy there, mateys! Captain Careless has arrived at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s, he has lost his booty and needs help locating all the lost treasure which has been hidden around the aquarium.

Go on a journey completing the pirates' map and learn about the amazing array of treasures that call the world’s oceans and our aquarium home!

Explore the aquarium's various zones bursting with an array of colourful sea life including the crowd-favourite oceanarium tunnels, learn about our conservation initiatives at the Turtle Rescue Centre or marvel at New Zealand's only colony of sub-Antarctic penguins at Antarctic Ice Adventure, offering guests a rare opportunity to see these magnificent birds up close.

Upon entry kids will receive a free activity booklet to complete which will keep them entertained with a range of fun and interactive activities. There will be daily face painting between 10:30am and 2:30pm at Turtle Bay by the café.

Get involved with the fun and come dressed as a pirate for a chance to reach into the treasure chest, with a range of free giveaways on offer daily!

The Pirates Treasure Hunt runs from Saturday 9th to Sunday 24th July. The aquarium will be open 7 days a week 9:30am – 5pm (last entry 4pm) during the New Zealand school holidays.
