The ultimate indoor LEGO® playground is hosting free activities and extending opening hours

To celebrate the 90th anniversary of LEGO®, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre is hosting five days of free building activities for families to enjoy.

From Monday 8 August – Friday 12 August, families visiting the balcony outside the ultimate indoor LEGO playground can build a celebratory LEGO model and take it home for free! The special ‘make and take’ activity will run from 3:30pm – 5pm each day, with an extra 10:30am – 12pm session on Wednesday 10 August, the anniversary of the beloved toy company.

During the 15-minute building workshops kids will build mini replicas of classic LEGO sets from the last 90 years. With only 90 spots per day, bookings are essential.

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is also marking the occasion by announcing the attraction will now be open seven days a week with extended opening hours, giving families more time to immerse themselves in a world of play and creativity!

The retail store at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is joining in on the fun with a special 90 Years of Play (11021) set for sale.

“For the 90th anniversary, the team here at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is following LEGO’s lead in reinforcing the super important role that play has in wellbeing and happiness, not just in children but in adults too. Our goal is to encourage families to play through exploration and experimentation, and what better way to do that, than with LEGO,” said Miller Keys, Master Model Builder at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
