Swashbuckling scenes at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium!

Enjoy Pirate Treasure Hunt activities at the aquarium throughout the school holidays

SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium was alive with oohs and ‘oooh arghhhs’ as visitors spotted a couple of pirates who had swapped the seven seas for the Oceanarium.

Kids delighted in a deep sea, swashbuckling adventure, where the pirates discovered a treasure chest hidden in a cave, played games with on lookers and even battled it in an underwater sword fight surrounded by sharks and stingrays.

The pirates were here to celebrate this summer’s action-packed Pirate Treasure Hunt, which is running throughout the school holidays. Until 29 January 2023 visitors will receive a free pirate hat and activity booklet so they can embark on their very own adventure, solving clues to help Captain Careless find his lost treasure hidden around the aquarium whilst learning about the amazing animals of the ocean. Guests will also have the opportunity to pose for a fun pirate photo and reach into the SEA LIFE Melbourne treasure chest for the chance to win a prize!
